2017 Life.Love. Game Design Challenge

Finalists

Finalists will be selected from the submitted game narratives. Although the number of finalists will depend on the quanitity and quality of submitted narratives our current plan is to limit the contest to TEN FINALISTS.

These finalists will move on to the second phase of the contest: design and development of their video game about consent. These completed video games will then be reviewed and scored to determine the final winners. In addition to THREE winners, one non-winning finalist will be randomly selected to receive the DOOR PRIZE.

First Place

  • Winning video game featured on JAGga.me
  • A $10,000 college scholarship (or equivalent)
  • Video game published and promoted
  • Critique by industry experts
  • Media coverage of game and developer(s)
  • Presentation of game at conferences

Second Place

  • Video game featured on JAGga.me
  • A $2,000 college scholarship (or equivalent)
  • Video game published and promoted
  • Critique by industry experts
  • Media coverage of game and developer(s)
  • Presentation of game at conferences

Third Place

  • Video game featured on JAGga.me
  • A $1,000 college scholarship (or equivalent)
  • Video game published and promoted
  • Critique by industry experts
  • Media coverage of game and developer(s)

Door Prize randomly drawn from non-winning finalists
